about
In a dreamlike farm with a heated pool, sauna, a large yoga studio, hammocks, 25m2 of tatamis, fireplace surrounded by 2.5 acres of private forest, the School of Disobedience runs a small-scale "Tension & Release" retreat for women of all ages and experiences to reduce stress and let go of tensions. Participants will be introduced to the following techniques and self-care routines to take away and use independently whenever they need them:
PART 1: TENSION
Techniques: play fight, eye contact exercise, basic self-defense, empowerment techniques
Facilitator: Anna Ádám
About: Through the exploration of our anger and strength, we will learn the difference between acceptable and unacceptable, how to say "no" firmly, and how to ask for "help". We will definitely discover our power and challenge our determination, develop self-confidence and resistance in a kind, respectful, and safe environment.
Unlike any martial art, self-defense or fighting technique, this inclusive method is built on everyday movements (push, pull, jump, fall…), and is inspired by “life situations” in basic “street contexts”. It has nothing to do with contact dance and mock combat, it’s not about winning or losing, it’s rather soft, not aggressive, chill and fun, not heavy and overwhelming. It’s adapted to every type of body and ages, and doesn't require any experience or specific knowledge.
PART 2: RELEASE
Techniques: aquatic relaxation, hydro-massage, grounding in water, watsu
Facilitator: Nikoletta Majoros
About: The covered, heated pool of the Napmajor Farm is perfect for a deep aquatic relaxation, water massage, and dynamic meditation. This complex floating treatment is done in warm water with gentle stretches, flowing movement and massage elements. Warm water is an ideal medium for the joint release and calming of the body and mind. The healing effects of water on our locomotor and mental states have long been proven. On this basis, the Aquatic Relaxation was invented to create a relaxed, stress-free environment that activates the body’s self-healing mechanisms.

our frame & engagement
- While this camp is a precious time for self-reflection and sharing, this is not a therapeutic but a creative space for women empowerment.
- You can start or stop exercises at any time. Above all, we invite you to listen to yourself, your needs, follow your own rhythm and intuition.
- We won't "push" you out of your comfort zone, but we will open a few doors, and when you feel the time is right for you, you can decide whether to enter or stay out.
- There are no expectations. There is nothing to prove. Nothing is compulsory.
