limits & boundaries
Through the exploration of our physical limits, emotional and mental boundaries, we learn the difference between acceptable and unacceptable, how to say "no" firmly, and how to ask for "help".
Depending on your needs, our "Fight Club" can help you in:
At the beginning of each session, we practice gaze-fighting to make our gaze stronger and deeper, dare to watch straight and not lower our eyes. Following self defense and "play fight" exercises in pair, we discover and challenge our strength, develop self-confidence, increase our physical and mental resistance. We finish each class with empowering ecstatic dance battles.
Unlike any rule-based sport or technique-based dance style, this inclusive method is built on everyday movements. It is adapted to every type of body, and doesn't require any experience or specific knowledge.
Depending on your needs, our "Fight Club" can help you in:
- unblocking your barriers (eg. self-control, fears...) ;
- setting your limits and making them respected ;
- recognizing and recycling hidden tensions, blockages, and denials into self-empowerment and courage ;
- unlearning toxic patterns and automatism ;
- understanding the mechanisms and signs of boundary violation and protecting yourself from it.

together stronger
"My “Fight Clubs” are soft spaces of care and empowerment, where through the practice of play fighting and self-defense, we liberate our body and voice, discover our power and challenge our strength, and develop self-confidence and resistance. Against the intimidating and objectifying male gaze used as an instrument of women’s oppression, we regularly do eye-gazing exercises, and learn how to confront it instead of looking away. We reinforce our eyes as a muscle, and rehearse to gaze back proudly again, again, and again. Making our eye muscles stronger and stronger, we gaze back day after day with a little bit more confidence, and a little bit less of fear."
