SCHOOL OF DISOBEDIENCE
you want to host us?
We don't have a permanent address, we are a traveling school, pop-up and nomadic. We set up our school temporarily in different places, structures, festivals where we are invited. Our mission is to create a passionate and radical 'soft space' for self-exploration and empowerment within these 'hard' structures. Dislocating our activities allows us to think and act locally. Sharing and caring. Last year we opened our school in Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Senegal, Serbia, UK for a period ranging from one day to six months.
Are you seeking to enhance inclusivity and gender balance in your space? Do you want to empower people and promote diversity within your community? Are you interested in hosting an educational program that challenges traditional academic discourses and fosters creative exploration?
If so, hosting the School of Disobedience is an ideal opportunity for your venue. Our program draws inspiration from diverse perspectives, including oppressed voices and marginalized viewpoints, to offer a new discourse outside the confines of the canon and academic norms. By embracing emotion, intuition, and vulnerability, we create a space where individuality is celebrated and difference is valued.
Would you like to provide a platform for artists to break free from mainstream expectations and dare to be different? Do you believe in the power of sincerity, honesty, and personal growth in artistic expression? Are you ready to challenge the status quo and embrace a more inclusive and diverse approach to arts and culture?
Hosting the School of Disobedience allows you to do just that. Our program encourages artists to reject conformity and explore their unique voices, while also fostering a supportive environment that empowers them to reclaim their power in the art world. By opening your doors to our innovative learning experiences and creative expression, you can enrich your venue with progressive values and forward-thinking education.

are you interested in supporting our initiative or providing financial assistance?
While we appreciate the offer, we operate as a grassroots initiative with a small circular economy. We generate enough income to compensate our artists and "Unlearning Facilitators" respectfully, and we prefer to remain self-sufficient in this manner.
We do not seek funding, sponsors, or support from government entities, the EU, or any other institution that may impose authority or control over us. We value our independence and autonomy above all else.
Thank you for your offer, but we kindly decline. We are proud to stand on our own two feet.
