This Art Camp is proudly supported by the School of Disobedience and was conceptualized and brought to life by Violette Lagouine, a current student at our School. We wholeheartedly recommend it to all aspiring artists!
Join us for an immersive journey of creative self-discovery amidst the serene landscapes of Napmajor Arts & Healing Farm!

Experience Overview:
In this dreamlike setting featuring a heated pool, sauna, expansive yoga studio, hammocks, and private forest, our small-scale Art Camp offers a diverse array of activities tailored to awaken your senses and nurture your creativity. From vocal improvisation to land art, from creative writing to movement improvisation, explore various facets of artistic expression while deepening your connection with nature and yourself.

15/07: Arrival

Internal Observation / External Expression

Experience the power of voice as a medium of body memory and self-discovery. Explore the depths of your intuition through sound, connecting with your body and emotions in profound ways. Engage in wincing exercises and experiment with various gestures to release inner tensions and find new forms of expression.

Looking for Traces
Delve into the world of landscape art and learn how to cooperate with your surroundings. Through focused analysis and hands-on practice, discover how observing landscapes can inspire and enhance your creativity. Embrace the beauty of nature and foster a deeper connection with the earth and your own creative potential.

World Building
Merge the subjective and collective experiences to create new realities. Explore individual perceptions and memories, fictionalizing them to form artistic narratives. Collaborate with fellow participants to weave these narratives into immersive treasure hunts, combining individual memories into a collective consciousness that guides you through new worlds of imagination.

Immersing in the Invisible
Challenge perceptions of the invisible and explore the mysteries of silence and darkness. Through collective reflection and nighttime explorations, delve into the unseen realms of nature and consciousness. Use writing, reading, and conversation to manifest the invisible into tangible forms, capturing the essence of the unseen through various creative mediums.
