You’re eligible if you:
– You have an active student status at a university located in Europe
– You have not yet participated in any Erasmus+ program
– You have an active student status at a university located in Europe
– You have not yet participated in any Erasmus+ program
you have two options:
Please note that the Erasmus+ grant is a financial support, not a full scholarship. You receive the grant from your university and use it to cover your costs (tuition, travel, accommodation, living).
Our program is fee-based and does not include accommodation:
Students and recent graduates can cover these fees through two Erasmus+ schemes:

The Erasmus+ Traineeship scheme is open to:

- Performance Art modules: 1000 € / module
- Somatic Writing modules: 1200 € / module
- Retreat: 500 € / retreat
- Individual Mentorship Residency: 1200 € / residency
Students and recent graduates can cover these fees through two Erasmus+ schemes:

Recent graduates are not eligible for Short-Term Mobility.
- Erasmus+ Traineeship Program
The Erasmus+ Traineeship scheme is open to:
- currently enrolled students
- recent graduates, provided that:
- the mobility was approved by their university before graduation, and
- the traineeship takes place within 12 months after completing their studies
we’re looking for:
- higher education students or recent graduates in the fields of performance, art, dance, somatic practices, creative writing, social sciences, education, activism, design, or related areas;
- those eager to explore new ways of creating, (un)learning, and being together;
- At the School of Disobedience, we often work with autobiographical material and personal artistic research. We therefore look for participants who feel emotionally ready for this kind of process and who can approach personal material with care, responsibility, and artistic awareness.

Important: Before starting the application process with us, you must first check with your university whether they can support your participation through an Erasmus+ Short-Term Mobility grant or an Erasmus+ Traineeship program.
If your university does not approve or cannot support the mobility, we will unfortunately not be able to proceed with the application process.

Participation is not automatic and depends on:

Your university will then review your application and inform you whether the Erasmus+ grant is awarded.
If the funding is confirmed, your participation in the program can be fully confirmed.
If your university does not approve or cannot support the mobility, we will unfortunately not be able to proceed with the application process.

- why you would like to join the School of Disobedience
- which Erasmus+ funding scheme you would like to apply for (Short-Term Mobility or Traineeship)
- which retreat(s), residency or module(s) you would like to attend, using Erasmus+ funding to help cover the participation fee

Step 3 - Selection by the School of Disobedience
Applications are reviewed and selected by our team.
Participation is not automatic and depends on:
- the availability of places
- the motivation letter
- an online video call, which may be requested in order to better understand your project, expectations, and motivation
Step 4 - Erasmus+ funding decision
Your university will then review your application and inform you whether the Erasmus+ grant is awarded.
If the funding is confirmed, your participation in the program can be fully confirmed.

Can recent graduates apply?
Recent graduates may sometimes apply through the Erasmus+ Traineeship program, provided the mobility was approved by their university before graduation and takes place within 12 months after completing their studies.
However, Erasmus+ Short-Term Mobility is generally reserved for currently enrolled students.

Which countries are eligible?
Students must be currently enrolled at a university located in a country participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
In general this includes:
- EU member states
- several associated countries such as Norway, Iceland, Serbia, Turkey, etc.
- Students studying in Hungary are not eligible to use Erasmus+ funding to attend the School of Disobedience, since the mobility must take place in another country.
- The United Kingdom is no longer part of Erasmus+, so students enrolled in UK universities are usually not eligible through this program.
- Switzerland is not part of Erasmus+, although some universities have alternative mobility schemes. Students should check with their International Office.
