SCHOOL OF DISOBEDIENCE
Join us in Budapest for a creative weekend of eight workshops, bringing together dance, movement, writing, visual arts, and community practices.
Depending on the workshop, you will:
Rather than focusing on results, these workshops emphasize process and becoming. You will learn concrete tools and practices, experiment with different media, explore multiple ways of creating and collaborating, and open new perspectives for your own work.
The workshops are led by eight artists participating in the month-long Performance & People Masterclass in May 2026. This weekend marks the closing moment of their facilitator training, where they share their practices and guide participants through structured experiences and processes.
This weekend is open to anyone curious about creation, connection, and exploration, and about the School of Disobedience’s methods, values, and spaces. No prior artistic experience is required.
Anna Ádám, founder of the School of Disobedience, will be present throughout the weekend.
Depending on the workshop, you will:
- research and explore (Research Lab),
- create artistic material (Creative Workshop),
- (un)learn (Alternative Pedagogical Space), or
- experiment through multi-sensory practices (Immersive Space).
