"This intensive is not about how to enter the system. It is about how to stop needing it as the only condition of existence."
—Anna Ádám
Founder of the School of Disobedience
This summer intensive is for artists and creative practitioners who want to stop organizing their work around open calls as the primary horizon, and begin to build conditions in which their work can exist without constantly waiting to be selected.
Stop applying. Start proposing.
This is not business training in the conventional sense. We do not import entrepreneurial models from outside and apply them to artistic practice. We rather work from the opposite direction: from within the practice itself.
You do not learn how to fit into a system.
You begin to understand how to construct one.
The objective of the intensive is to make your work operable. To move from something that depends on selection and invitation, to something that can be initiated, proposed, and financially sustained.
We do not begin from the market.
We do not analyze trends.
We do not identify “needs” to fill.
We begin from what you already do, even if it is not yet clearly structured.
Across five days, you define:
What is transmitted is a shift in position:
from applying to initiating
from adapting to deciding
from waiting to building
For whom
This intensive is for artists and creative practitioners who want to gain autonomy and take responsibility for the conditions under which their work exists. It is for those who feel the need to rethink their relationship to money, not by adopting ready-made models, but by finding ways of sustaining their practice that are aligned with their ethics, their capacities, and their way of working. It is for those who want to structure their practice without reducing it, and to move away from a position of dependency where work can only exist through external frameworks, selections, and invitations.

Across five days, you define:
- what you actually offer
- in what formats it can exist (workshop, performance, publication…)
- who your work is for and how you reach them
- what you can realistically charge and why
- how to build a financial model that sustains your activity
- how much you work, with whom, and under what conditions
- how your work circulates without being simplified or distorted
