This summer intensive is for artists who want to stop organizing their work around open calls as the primary horizon, and begin to build conditions in which their work can exist without constantly waiting to be selected.

The objective of the intensive is to make your work operable: to move from a practice that depends on external selection, invitation, and validation toward a practice that can be initiated, proposed, organized, and financially sustained by you.
We do not begin from the market.
We do not identify “needs” to fill.
We begin from what you already do as an artist.
Focus
Across five days, we will work on one of the biggest taboos among artists: money. You will build a financial model around your practice, define what your different formats cost and what they can generate, and learn how to create multiple opportunities for your work to circulate on your own terms.
This is not a course in self-promotion.
It is a shortcut through years of confusion, trial, error, undercharging, overworking, waiting, applying, adapting, and trying to understand how to survive as an artist without becoming what the system wants you to become.
I will share what worked for me, what failed, what cost too much time, money, and energy, and what I would do differently now.
Today, I run my own school. I have built an economic model that is ethical, fair, and sustainable. I create and produce my own work, but also the work of others. I know institutions from the inside, and I also know what it means to leave their logic and build otherwise.
The shift is simple, but radical:
from applying to initiating,
from adapting to deciding,
from waiting to building.
And the journey is absolutely worth it!
