about
Through workshops, unique experiences, rituals, horizontal collaboration, individualized mentorship, multidisciplinary research, performance opportunities, and responsible fieldwork, our summer school program combines artistic and healing processes and experiences to reflect on ourselves and on the world, here we empower students to dare to dream big. Our multidisciplinary curriculum invites participants to get unstuck in their creative process or life period, handle pressure and expectations, gain motivation, new inspirations, insights and perspectives. Students acquire producing and leadership skills as well that foster social change and sustainability. They receive a set of knowledge, experience, tools, techniques, and methods so they can dig deep into their artistic and academic curiosity to explore and create new aesthetics, forms, experiences, spaces, and communities. Instead of seeing things as they are, students are constantly encouraged to formulate out-of-the-box proposals, build the world as it ought to be.
While summer camps are precious time for self-reflection and sharing, these are not therapeutic but creative spaces. Hearing from others and sharing your own experiences may bring up certain strong emotions so will not be suitable for everyone. If you are feeling particularly vulnerable at this time or, for example, have been recently bereaved, please consider carefully whether to attend our camps this summer.
- June 9-12: "From Poetry to Performance"
- June 16-19: "Creating Spaces, Experiences, Communities" for facilitators, therapists, healers, and creative space holders
- July 1-4: "Outside of the box"
- July 8-11: “Let it go: A new start”
